The field telephone EE-8 has the early issue leather carrier, which was phased out before the end of WW2.
It has the U.S. Army Signal Corps markings stamped into the leather.
The EE-8 phone was the standard field telephone during the Second World War, the Korean War, and was used extensively in the Vietnam War.
Takes 2 (present day) D-Cell Batteries.
