WW2 GERMAN LARGE PORCELAIN BOWL BY HUTSCHENREUTHER

Large bowl for canteen crockery, underglaze mark "Modell des Amt Schönheit der Arbeit".   A Swastika in the toothed ring. Diameter 29.5cm.

It is original and undamaged and uncleaned.

Also comes with Beauty of Labour stamp on the bowl.  The Beauty of Labour or Schönheit der Arbeit, was a propaganda organization of the German Labourr Front from the period 1934 to 1945.  One of its principle functions was workplace design and the beautification including what constituted good industrial design from bad.

Manufactured by Hutschenreuther Selb Porcelain Factories Company and bares the mark of this company along  Bavaria/Germany.  Hutschenreuther, was a German family who established the production of porcelain products in Northern Bavaria starting from 1814.
