US VINTAGE MILITARY ISSUED SILVA LEATHER WRIST COMPASS

Vintage 1950's era wrist compass made by Silva.  Cruiser model produced in the U.S.A.  US Patent No.  2136970.  Sweden Patent No. 91435.  Silva compasses we normally issued to military personal.  Has a brown leather strap.  Often worn by pilots.

Model Cruiser (1955).  The model Cruiser was only produced in the U.S.A.

There were at least four different Silva models known to have been produced for the military. Several versions of the wrist compass model Globetrotter are known but also the Cruiser Model.
