NSDAP Party Badge - Zinc with three-colour paint.

Constructed of zink, horizontal pinback, the obverse with a black mobile swastika on a white painted disk, within a red painted ring bearing a raised inscription of “NATIONAL-SOZIALISTISCHE D.A.P.” (“NATIONAL SOCIALIST GERMAN WORKERS’ PARTY”), the reverse with a Reichszeugmeisterei (RZM) logo and code M1/17” for maker F.W. Assmann & Sohne, measuring 23.5 mm in diameter.

This is an NSDAP membership badge awarded to all personnel after they were accepted as an official party member.  Complete with an original safety pin style catch on reverse.
