This reproduction Waffen SS visor cap has been made from field green wool with white pipping and Metal SS Totenkopf skull and eagle.
The peak and the upper cap has been made from field green wool material.
This is why we call it second pattern were normally the SS VISOR peak would be fiber and not coverd with wool .
Constructed of field gray wool and has the low crushed sides due to the crown-supporting ring being removed. Both the peak of the cap and the upper cap are made from the same wool fabric.
This visor caps come complete EREL markings inside the cap.

Panzer Ace Michael Wittmann was a notorious German tank commander in the Second World War. Who was active during the Battle of Normandy.
Vogelthal, near Dietfurt in Bavaria's Upper Palatinate, on 22 April 1914 in Vogelthal, near Dietfurt in Bavaria's Upper Palatinate, as the son of a farmer. He joined the army in 1934. In October, 1936 Wittman joined the SS and on April 5, 1937 he was asigned to the Leibstandarte SS Adolf Hitler LSSAH.
Michael Wittmann became one of the most successful tank commanders in military history. Winning the Knights Cross with oak leaf and swords.
He destroyed about 156 enemy tanks, about 200 pieces of artillery and about 300 small army vehicles.
Most of Wittman’s successes were with the Tiger 1 tank. Known for his single-handed attack on an Allied army convoy at the Battle of Villers-Bocage, Michael Wittman, destroyed 12 Allied tanks and 15 Allied armoured vehicles in just 15 minutes.
Michael Wittmann died August 8, 1944 when his Tiger was destroyed near the village of Cinthaux.
