GERMAN WW2 RED CROSS NURSES BADGE TITLED: DEUTSCHES ROTES KREUZ SCHWESTERNSCHAFT
DEUTSCHES ROTES KREUZ (DRK) SCHWESTERNSCHAFT PIN - ORIGINAL
This Deutsches Rotes Kreuz (DRK) Schwesternschaft pin has maker mark “PC” in a diamond and has number 5102 on the back.
This is a fine example of a German Red Cross “Active members” enamel badge with the wording “Deutsches Rotes Kreuz Schwesternschaft”, German Red Cross Sisterhood.
A lovely rare early badge. Excellent condition.
Female DRK personnel were issued an active service brooch to be worn as a duty badge at the nape of the neck of the service uniform. The active service brooches came in both circular and oval versions. You can purchase the nurses uniform it came with here: Nurses Uniform
Unfortunately we lost the pin somehow when we bought it. The pin fell off somewhere and we can't find it. So we are adding a free tinnie, you can possibly use the pin from it and put on the DRK pin as they were very similiar. The tinnie has RZM and M9/4 mark on the back along with the company name; G.Brehmer Markneukirchen.
