LUFTWAFFE EM/NCO OVERSEAS CAP BY CLEMENS WAGNER

This Luftwaffe overseas cap is by Clemens Wagner.  

Constructed in Luftwaffe blue/grey, wool/rayon blend featuring fold down side with gently sloping, downward scallops to the front and forward sides.

The front center of the cap has a machine embroidered Luftwaffe Eagle clutching a canted, Swastika in one talon, in pale silvery/grey cotton threads mounted on a cut-out, blue/grey, wool base and the front center of the fold down panels has a machine embroidered, national tri-color cockade in black, white and red. Both the eagle and the cockade are neatly handstitched in place.

The interior of the cap is fully lined in ribbed, blue/grey, cotton and is marker marked with Clemens Wagner. Size 59. With soldier's name Heckmann hand written.

This cap has been used in WW2 so has that nice "salty" look, you can still see the sweat on the band wear the hat sat on his head and three small moth holes but in very good condition for its age
