An original German Life Saving Association medal. D.L.R.G. (Deutsche-Rettungs-Lebens-Gesellschaft) belonging to Herrn Walter Muth. A scarce badge for one who must be competent in water lifesaving techniques.
Along with 2 Life Saving Association booklets for passing life saving skills.
Walter Muth was born March 25, 1913 and passed both live saving tests for Basic Training and Higher Preformance Training. Both booklets have a photograph of the medal holder, and are signed and dated.
The green booklet:
Has the exam for the basic license of the D.L.R.G. successfully completed. The services consisted of: Signed and dated August 28, 1933
The medal received is constructed of gilded bronze. Reverse has a vertical pinback, barrel hings and flat wire catch. The size is approx 55 x 40 cm and has a cloth backing.
The orange booklet: Deutsche Lebens-Rettungs Gesellschaft e.v. - Berlin,
Leistungsschein (German life-saving society e.v. - Berlin certificate of performance).
Certificate of performance of the German Life Saving Society with the provisions of Section B. II. B of the company's articles of association with success. This certificate is issued on this basis. Signed and dated June 14, 1935
