A Silver Grade Close Combat Clasp With maker mark for Funcke & Brüninghaus- REPRODUCTION
The German Silver Close combat vaulted clasp is die struck and silver washed .
The obverse depicts a crossed model 24 grenade and K98 bayonet with leaves, acorns and lined rays all beneath an open winged Heer eagle clutching a swastika within its talons. The reverse of the badge displays; the "F&BL" embossed maker mark (Funcke & Brüninghaus, Lüdenscheid), the horizontal coke bottle pin, catch and hinge. The pin, hinge and catch all work well!
