WW1 GERMAN INFANTRY BELT BUCKLE SAXON PROVIDENTIAE MEMOR AND BELT ORIGINAL

This is a great looking Bavarian EM / NCO belt buckle and belt.

Double marked buckle and also maker mark on the belt. Both belt and buckle have 1914 dates.   

The German WW1 belt buckle is the standard model 1895 pattern in brass used throughout WW1.

This particular rare example is for troops from the state of Saxony and has the Saxon motto of Providentiae Memor (Mindful of Providence).
