GERMAN SS OFFICERS BROCADE BELT

Woven, bright, frosty, silver/aluminum construction SS Officer’s brocade belt features the repeating, alternating, interwoven oak-leaf sprigs and SS runes with impressed outlines. Both the top and bottom edges of the belt are trimmed with two, narrow, interwoven, horizontal, black stripes flanking a central silver/aluminum stripe. The belt has both of the sliding, vertical, "keepers" with the same black, silver/aluminum, black stripes.

One end of the belt is folded over and machine stitched to the reverse to secure a molded aluminum alloy construction, open rectangular, buckle catch. The other end of the belt has a black leather, buckle retaining tongue machine stitched to the reverse. The reverse of the belt is finished with a black cloth backing.
