GERMAN PANZERFAUST 60 ANTI-TANK ROCKET AND LAUNCHER
WW2 PANZERFAUST 60 OR PANZERFAUST GROSS - ORIGINAL
This is an original German WWII inert Panzerfaust 60 Anti-Tank Rocket with Launcher. Production in September 1944 of the new 3rd version of the Panzerfaust was the Panzerfaust 60.
With the most practical range of 60 m or 66 yards, the muzzle velocity of only 45 m or 144 ft per second would mean the warhead could reach it’s target within 1.3 seconds and blowing into 7.9” of armor. This model was only produced for a few months until the war ended.
To reach this fast speed the Panzerfaust was improved by increasing the tube diameter, adding the flip-up rear sight and trigger.
This model was only produced for a few months until the war ended.
This example has been demilitarized.

The Panzerfaust
The Panzerfaust was developed by NSDAP Germany during WW2 starting in 1942 and were the first single-use light anti-tank weapons based on a preloaded disposable launch tube, a configuration still used today.
The Panzerfaust-design consisted of a light recoilless launcher tube outfitted with a single pre-loaded high-explosive anti-tank warhead protruding from the muzzle. It was an inexpensive, easy-to-use anti-tank weapon meant to be fired by a single soldier, normally the common infantry man.
Firing was done from under the arm at an upward angle as the effective firing range was barely beyond that of hand grenades (30–60 m (98–197 ft) max). After use the launcher was discarded.
The initial design was dubbed Faustpatrone (lit. "fist-cartridge") and was the smallest design. The second design, made in 1943, was dubbed Panzerfaust Klein ("tank-fist small"). The largest design, Panzerfaust Gross ("tank-fist big") entering service in late 1944.
