GERMAN NAZI PARTY RAD VOLUNTEER'S WORK BOOK

German WWII original Volunteer Arbeitsbuch/ Nazi party workbook. The cover is decorated with the RAD emblem of shovel head with swastika and wheat stalks. Also printed on cover is:  "Whoever served under this command has proved that he is ready to work for the reconstruction of our fatherland".

The Arbeitsbuch (Work Book or Employment Record Book) was a personal, portable work history of the owner. The Nazi Labor Law of 26 February 1935 required labor registration and the use of an Arbeitsbuch. Each book measures approximately 4 x 6 inches. 

This book is unique to the individual that owned it with varying entries, dates, and official stamps. 

The employee, named Kurt, who had this book, was born September 7, 1908 and this is signed and dated 1935.  There is also his photograph attached.
