This is an original German Iron Cross stick pin.  Made Post War by the German government . it is the original 1957 iron cross stick pin version. 

Approved by German government for public wear since 1957.

The basic design is of the black Iron Cross from WW2 Germany with an oak leaf in the centre of the pin and 1939.

The Iron Cross ( Eisernes Kreuz) was a military decoration originally from the Kingdom of Prussia, and later in the German Empire (1871–1918) and Nazi Germany (1933–1945). The design is a  black cross pattée with a white or silver outline.  This design was actually derived from the insignia of the medieval Teutonic Order and worn by its knights from the 13th century.
