GERMAN EM/NCO'S HEER BELT BUCKLE WITH LEATHER TAB 1941

This a German WW2 Steel buckle with a leather tab fits on the German Wehrmacht black leather belt.  Tab maker marked and dated 1041. J.C. Maelicke, Berlin.

The centre of the buckle features the Heer Eagle with down swept wings, it is clutching a swastika. The eagle is encircled with inner and outer simulated twisted rope border between which is an embossed oak leaf cluster on the bottom.  On the top is the script “Gott Mit Uns”, (God With Us).
