GERMAN 1934 NSDAP 10 YEAR ANNIVERSARY TINNIE BADGE

This is an original "Tinnie" or badge, made of medal, first issued on May 9, 1934 for the Nazi Party's anniversary.

It reads on the front:  LOCAL GROUP OF THE N.S.D.A.P. SUMMERHAUSEN/ 10 YEARS CELEBRATION 9th-10th May, 1934

The size is 33 x 44 mm. Pin on back.

Tinnie were normally either plastic or metal badges given in Germany to those who donated to a particular cause, such as a political rally or celebration.  They varied in shape, style and design based on the particular event.
