Canadian WW2 Sterling Silver Issue War medal and box
The original WW2 Canadian Volunteer Service Medal (C.V.S.M.) has a nice aged silver patina . The Medal is 92.5% Sterling silver.
The obverse depicts Canadian men and woman of the Army, Air Force, Navy as well as nurses, with the wording "1939 Canada 1945 Voluntary Service Volontaire".
The reverse depicts the Coat of Arms of Canada in detail.
The original box has been stamped "C.V.S.M." in blue lettering.
