CANADIAN 17TH DUKE OF YORKS ROYAL CANADIAN HUSSARS CAP BADGE

This regiment was mobilized on 24th May 1940 and embarked for the U.K. on 23rd. Aug 1941. The regiment landed at Normandy on June 6th.1944 as part of the 3rd.Canadian Infantry Division. (Canadian Armoured Corps - 7th Reconnaissance Regiment). They served also with battle honours at Caen. The badge is in great condition with original lugs.
