VINTAGE 1930's or 40's WOMAN'S NURSES LONG FLARED CAPE

This 1930's - 1940's vintage Nurses black cape is in awesome condition. Some slight marking inside and some minor sewing repairs done but overall very good for it's age.

Made of black garbardine, with a red satin lining. With a braided neck cord. Pocket slits for the hands.  Looks to be a one size fits most.

Nurses capes came in a number of lengths and this is the longer cap, past the knees, normally worn in colder periods.

These caps were worn by a number of different countries military nurses, from Canada, Britian to the U.S.  These were also worn by Red Cross nurses.
