this site contains Authentic Militaria and Reproduction Military along with
new items such as books and toys return policies vary slightly on the item you
have purchased. Please see below in this section for additional
policies for the type of product you have purchased. Please note that if
you are theatre or film company we will not allow returns of any type.
You may inquiry about our rental program instead. If you wish to make a
return you MUST contact Militarytour.com PRIOR to returning the item.
DISSATISFACTION,
MISREPRESENTATION OR DEFECT:
In
the event of dissatisfaction, misrepresentation or defect money will be
refunded on receipt of goods returned on the basis that the item
must be returned in its original warehouse condition and the packaging or boxing must
not be opened or damaged in any way. Notification of
dissatisfaction must be made within 3 days of receipt of goods. If after 3 days you have
not contacted us, we will assume that you are happy with your order, and it
cannot be refunded.
Custom order or custom made items: No cash or credit card refunds will
be given on any custom made items or custom orders. If it is possible for us
to exchange with our supplier then we may allow exchanges of your
item. Once your item is returned you will receive an exchange
credit that may be used on any other purchase on our website.
Returns are not given due to factors such as your misunderstanding of our
policies regarding pricing, currency, or shipping and handling, returns, etc.,
You
may return the order for a refund, minus costs and shipping, provided the item
is not damaged or tampered with and is returned in "as sent"
condition. Refunds are issued only upon return of orders. Any shipping charges incurred
by the purchaser for return will be the responsibility of the purchaser.
Refunds will be given only on the purchase price of the item no refunds will be given on any
shipping costs incurred to ship the item to you. This policy is also for
returns in the event of sizing issues.
Return the item using the most economical
shipping method possible and indicate that the item is a return or a
gift. The maximum amount of shipping costs we will refund to you, if
applicable, will be those listed on our website for that item. The
amount you were charged for shipping for that item. The amounts listed
on our website are the actual amounts for regular Canada Post airmail
postage. We will not cover the costs of couriers, rapid mailing,
tracking, packaging, handling or insurance.
Include in the package a note
concerning why you are returning the item, your full name and address, along with your order number.
We do not accept
returns via COD or billed to Military Tour in any way.
We reserve the right to not accept returns.
We can not accept any
responsibility for items that maybe confiscated, held, or lost by
customs or government agencies at your country, due to laws prohibiting
the sale or entry of certain goods. It will be your responsibility
to ensure that goods ordered are eligible for entry to your country. If
goods are held it will be your responsibility to claim them. It will also be the responsibility of the
customer to complete and/or pay for any applicable paperwork. duties or
fees required.
Any refunds made will
be credited in the same payment manner and currency as the original
purchase.

ITEMS
LISTED UNDER AUTHENTIC MILITARIA ONLY, COME WITH A GUARANTEE OF
ORIGINALITY. THERE IS A 30 DAY INSPECTION PERIOD.
If
during the 30 day inspection period you have doubts about the authenticity of the item you may
return it for a full refund. A detailed
description of your concern is required, along with any backup you may
have.

LOST ITEMS
In order to reduce shipping charges not all items
are insured when shipped. If you require insurance please notify us so
we can let you know of shipping costs. Please see the shipping section
for information regarding shipping times. It is very rare that items get
lost in shipping. They usually do arrive; sometimes slower than we
anticipated; but they do arrive. Unfortunately we are not able to control
what happens with the shipping once it leaves our facilities.
Canadian or U.S. orders are not considered lost in
postage by the post office until after 6 weeks. International orders are
considered lost in postage after 8 weeks, however they may still be held in
your customs department. This minimum time frame must pass before any refunds can
be considered.
We will not be held responsible for delays in mail
service, e.g. strikes, or a delay due to international customs or any
delays with respect to your payment clearing.
Usually shipping problems are due to inaccurate or
incomplete shipping addresses. Please be sure to list your name and
shipping address accurately when ordering as we can not be held responsible
for lost or misplaced items sent to inaccurate shipping addresses.
If for some reason your item is lost or misplaced
please contact the office. We will put a trace on the item. If
the item can not be found we will reship your item out to you or we will issue
you a refund. Depending on the circumstances you will be issued a full
refund if the lost package was due to an error by Militarytour or the Post
Office and we will assume all costs. If the lost package was due to an
error on the order form by the customer then no refunds will be given unless
the item is returned to us by the post office, or shipping company. When
a replaced order is re-shipped out to you it will be at YOUR OWN RISK. You maybe
required to pay additional shipping costs so your package can be send with
insurance. If you do not receive the second order then you will
not be eligible for a refund of any sort.
